Canada and Trump administration discuss Keystone XL revival
Canadian ministers met with U.S. officials to discuss reviving the Keystone XL pipeline. The project aims to boost energy security amid global supply disruptions.
Officials from Canada have initiated high-level discussions with representatives of the United States administration regarding a potential revival of segments of the cancelled Keystone XL oil pipeline. The meeting took place in Houston during the CERAWeek conference, an industry event hosted by S&P Global Inc.. Canadian Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson and Ambassador Mark Wiseman met with U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum to discuss the proposal, which is being spearheaded by South Bow Corporation and its American partner, Bridger Pipeline.
