Consumer confidence in the United Kingdom has fallen to its lowest level since early last year as the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East begins to weigh on the domestic economy. According to the latest data from S&P Global Inc., the Consumer Sentiment Index dropped to 44.1 in March from 44.8 in February, marking its weakest reading since January 2025.
