CSN Sets August Deadline for Binding Cement Unit Bids

CIA SIDERURGICA NACIONAL SA will receive binding offers for its cement unit until August 7 in a deal expected to raise 10 billion reais ($1.98 billion). This sale follows a non-binding phase that drew more than six proposals for the industrial assets in Brazil. The divestment aims to provide a liquidity injection as CSN manages its debt profile and capital expenditure requirements.
