Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will meet United States President Donald Trump on Thursday to negotiate trade tariffs and anti-crime cooperation. The meeting follows a 2025 U.S. probe into Brazilian policies including the Pix instant payment system and ethanol market access. The discussions aim to prevent a return to trade restrictions that Trump imposed last year.
