Brazil will expand ministerial spending blocks beyond the current 1.6 billion reais ($320 million) on Friday to meet its annual spending cap. Finance Minister Dario Durigan said the government is increasing restrictions to avoid a spending freeze. The measure aims to maintain fiscal discipline as the government targets a primary surplus of 0.25% of GDP.
