Brazil offers trade opening for Indian fruit to boost chicken sales

Brazil is offering to import Indian fruit and nuts to secure lower poultry tariffs. The move aims to grow bilateral trade to twenty billion dollars by 2030.

A Brazilian trade delegation currently visiting India ININ is seeking to expand the country's poultry exports by negotiating tariff openings with the Government of India. The proposal involves a reciprocal arrangement where Brazil BRBR would allow the entry of certain Indian fruits and nuts in exchange for reduced duties on Brazilian chicken products. These negotiations, which are currently under discussion, are part of a broader effort to deepen economic ties between the two nations.
