The Boeing Company delivered 46 jets in January and recorded 103 net new orders, marking a robust start to the year for the US
US aerospace manufacturer. These figures are significant for the industry because aircraft deliveries trigger the majority of payments from airlines to planemakers, while new orders shape future revenue and long-term fleet commitments. The January performance included 107 new orders offset by four cancellations, resulting in the net total of 103.
This delivery volume represents the third-highest in the history of the company for the month of January. In a direct comparison with its primary competitor, Boeing outdelivered Airbus, which recorded 19 deliveries during the same period. The American manufacturer also surpassed Airbus in net orders for the month, with the European firm posting 49. This follows a broader shift at the sector level established last year, when Boeing received more orders than Airbus for the first time in seven years.
