BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY INC-CL A has disclosed that it awarded Chief Executive Greg Abel $22 million in compensation for 2025 as he prepared to take over the top role from Warren Buffett. The disclosure, made in a proxy statement for the company's May 2 annual meeting in Omaha, Nebraska, also confirmed that the conglomerate has resumed its stock buyback program after a hiatus of nearly two years, spending more than $200 million recently.
