Baker Hughes Company announced on January 26, 2026, that its adjusted profit for the fourth quarter of 2025 rose 11% to $772 million, up from $694 million in the same period a year earlier. The US
US based energy technology firm reported adjusted earnings per share of 78 cents for the quarter, an increase from the 70 cents per share recorded in the fourth quarter of 2024. These results highlight a significant divergence between the company's core business segments, as a surge in gas-related infrastructure balanced a downturn in traditional drilling support.
The Industrial and Energy Technology business segment saw its revenue rise 9% to $3.8 billion, now contributing just over half of the total company revenue. This growth was fueled by continued momentum in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) development and robust demand for gas turbines and compressors. Baker Hughes Company also noted strong demand for floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) units, as well as gas infrastructure and power systems. This increased interest in Natural Gas technology has become a critical pillar for the company's financial performance despite broader market volatility.
