Shares of Axon Enterprise, Inc.[Symbol:{ "assets":{ "symbol":"AXON" } }] surged 16% in premarket trading on Wednesday following a fourth-quarter earnings report that significantly exceeded Wall Street expectations. The company, widely known for its Taser devices, reported strong demand across its security hardware and digital software portfolios, bolstered by increased government and corporate spending. The company posted an adjusted quarterly profit of $2.15 per share, comfortably beating the analyst consensus of $1.60 per share, according to data compiled by LSEG. This performance was supported by robust booking figures; Axon reported total 2025 bookings of $7.4 billion, a 46% increase from the previous year. Fourth-quarter bookings alone rose by approximately 50%. Growth has been driven by a combination of federal investment in immigration enforcement and rising corporate demand for executive security. Axon’s product ecosystem, which includes body-worn cameras, digital evidence management systems, and license plate recognition technology, continues to expand. Axon President Joshua Isner noted during an analyst call: > "There is a major opportunity across federal law enforcement for a number of our core products, as well as counter UAS technology." Analysts have reacted positively to the results. Andrew Sherman of TD Cowen described the quarter as critical, stating that the company "knocked it out of the park." Michael Latimore, an analyst at Northland Capital Markets, highlighted the company's integration of artificial intelligence, noting that its ability to drive AI-based value from sensors and unique data is becoming increasingly evident. Axon currently offers a voice-activated AI companion for its body cameras. Looking ahead, Axon expects its 2026 revenue to grow between 27% and 30%. While the company continues to outperform, its stock trades at a premium valuation of 57.43 times forward profit estimates, well above the industry median of 26.18.
