Trade negotiations between Australia and the European Union are showing signs of progress as both sides work toward a long-awaited agreement. Australian Trade Minister Don Farrell characterized a recent call with EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic as productive, signaling a renewed commitment to finalizing the deal.
"I am confident we can do a deal, and look forward to continuing to work with him to reach an agreement that is in Australia's national interest," Farrell said in a statement.
