Audi and SAIC Partner to Develop Four New Models in China
Audi and SAIC will expand their partnership to develop four new vehicle models for the Chinese market. The companies also plan to build a new technology center.
Audi is set to significantly expand its collaborative efforts with SAIC Motor to produce a new lineup of vehicles, marking a deeper commitment to the automotive market in China. The premium brand, which operates under the umbrella of VOLKSWAGEN AG, confirmed on Friday that the partnership will result in the launch of four new models specifically designed for Chinese consumers in the near future.
Beyond vehicle production, the two automotive giants will co-operate on the development of a new innovation and technology center located in Shanghai. This center is expected to streamline the integration of cutting-edge regional technologies into Audi's future portfolio.
