Ares CEO sees no major private credit default cycle

The private credit market is currently experiencing manageable levels of default risk, with existing stress primarily attributed to liquidity constraints and interest rate fluctuations rather than systemic failure. Speaking at an investment summit in Hong Kong, Michael Arougheti, the chief executive officer and co-founder of ARES MANAGEMENT CORP - A, indicated that the $622 billion firm sees no immediate threat of a widespread default wave.
