RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LTD will pivot its Jio Platforms IPO to a pure fundraising model by selling a 2.5% stake. The telecom giant dropped earlier plans for an offer-for-sale that would have allowed existing shareholders to exit. Foreign investors including META PLATFORMS INC-CLASS A, ALPHABET INC-CL A, and Vista Equity Partners prefer to maintain their positions.
### Investors Hold Tight for Long-Term Growth Original discussions involved these backers selling 8% of their individual holdings, but sources said they now wish to stay invested. Jio Platforms operates the second-largest telecom network globally by user count.
