Air Liquide sets ambitious new margin targets after beating annual profit estimates

The French industrial gases group reported 2025 operating profits of 5.58 billion euros today. It confirmed its 2026 guidance while setting new 2027 targets.

Air Liquide confirmed its 2026 operating margin guidance on February 20, 2026, and announced a new quantified target for the following year. The company, which is a France FRFR based supplier of industrial gases to factories and hospitals, stated it is aiming for a 100-basis-point increase in its operating margin for 2027. This new goal represents a total improvement of 560 basis points over the 2022–2027 period, updating the firm's long-term profitability trajectory.
