Aerospace Firm Arxis Raises 1.13 Billion Dollars in IPO
The Connecticut-based company priced 40.5 million shares at the top of its range. Trading begins today on the Nasdaq as demand for defense components rises.
Aerospace components manufacturer Arxis has successfully raised $1.13 billion in its initial public offering in the United States, pricing its shares at the top of the indicated range. The Bloomfield, Connecticut-based company sold 40.5 million shares at $28 each on Wednesday, following an upsized offering that initially targeted a price between $25 and $28 per share.
The successful listing reflects a robust investor appetite for industrial firms, particularly as aerospace suppliers seek to capitalize on rising demand from both commercial aviation and defense sectors. This trend is further accelerated by heightened geopolitical tensions in regions such as the Middle East and Ukraine, which have prompted many nations to increase their military expenditures.
