ADANI GREEN ENERGY LTD has reported a significant surge in its fourth-quarter financial results, with net profit climbing more than 34% compared to the previous year. The green energy division of billionaire Gautam Adani's conglomerate attributed this growth to robust power sales and enhanced capacity utilization across its portfolio.

For the quarter ending March 31, the company posted a consolidated profit of 34.2 billion rupees ($362.8 million), a sharp increase from the 3.83 billion rupees recorded in the same period last year. This performance comes as India continues to aggressively expand its renewable energy infrastructure to meet a national target of 500 gigawatts of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
