Indiana Democrats lead in GOP supermajority races
Early election returns show Indiana Democrats leading in multiple legislative races. The party seeks to flip seats and break the long-standing Republican supermajorities.

Indiana Democrats took early leads in at least 10 House races and six Senate contests, threatening to break the Republican supermajorities in the United States statehouse. Decision Desk figures showed Democrats closing in on the four House seats and seven Senate seats required to strip Republicans of their two-thirds voting advantage. Republicans have maintained supermajorities in both chambers since 2012.
