Germany Proposes 100M For Ukraine
Germany proposes setting aside an extra 100 million euros to help restore Ukrainian water, energy, and transport infrastructure amid intensifying Russian aerial attacks. The funds will cover unexpected damage from recent bombardments as winter approaches.

Germany proposed an extra €100 million ($113 million) to restore Ukraine water, energy, and transport infrastructure facing intensified aerial bombardment. The supplementary funding supplements the 2026 budget to counteract intensified attacks by Russia since July. The financing bolsters critical utility repairs ahead of winter after 80% of power generation capacity was destroyed since 2022.
