Oil Prices Fall 2 Percent on US Iran Truce Hopes

Oil prices fell about 2 percent on Friday as the US and Iran explored a path out of war and markets weighed a potential US diesel export ban. Brent futures settled down at 104.32 dollars a barrel while West Texas Intermediate declined to 92.41 dollars.

Brent Crude Oil fell $2.28 to settle at $104.32 a barrel on Friday afternoon, sliding 2.1% as negotiators from the United States and Iran explored a path to end hostilities.
